Dr. Scott Dudley, of Branin Center for Dentistry - Superior, is proud to announce that he has completed AAFE Certification for TMJ and Dermal Fillers and is now able to treat patients at Branin Center for Dentistry - Superior.

When asked about this addition to his list of services offered, Dr. Dudley said, “I am very proud to now offer a full range of injectable procedures for facial rejuvenation and anti-aging. But aside from the benefits related to appearance, I am most excited to offer this to our patients as a solution to relieve pain symptoms from TMJ, and to decrease headaches. When administered for this purpose, pain is reduced, and a person's quality of life greatly improves.”

When treating TMJ dysfunction, Dr. Scott Dudley will treat the muscles that control the jaw. The treatment typically works quickly, and a person notices improvement shortly afterward. Dr. Dudley also uses injectable treatments to manage other chronic pain conditions, such as migraines, by targeting small muscles, or groups of muscles, to release tension.  

Although injectables are not a cure for TMJ dysfunction or Chronic Migraines, they do  provides an important pain relief option that can typically last 3-5 months.
