Colin Hirsch, DDS, AFAAID

Dr. Hirsch loves being able to create relationships with his patients and providing compassionate, quality dentistry while staying up-to-date with the ever-changing landscape of dentistry.

Having a dental surgery completed is not really anyone's favorite thing to do so most of my patients have some sort of apprehension when they meet me. However, I enjoy addressing each of my patient's concerns, answering all their questions, and walking them through the procedure step by step to make it much more comfortable and enjoyable than they thought it would be.

Pride and Professionalism

Born and raised in the small, rural town of Genoa, Illinois, Dr. Hirsch spent many formative years in the Midwest, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Saint Louis University and then attending the Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee.

After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette, he continued his General Dentistry education while treating US Navy recruits at the Naval Station Great Lakes before moving out of the US interior. While working with the Navy, Dr. Hirsch developed a concerted sense of professionalism and a strong attitude that strives for both success and collaboration.

For the next three years, Dr. Hirsch would treat Marines at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Parris Island and the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina. Dr. Hirsch ended his time on the coast and in the Navy onboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower stationed in Norfolk, Virginia. After four years near the ocean, Dr. Hirsch and his wife decided to move west to explore the outdoors and hone their skiing and snowboarding skills.

Colorado and Beyond

Dr. Hirsch began his time in Colorado as an Associate General Dentist for Legacy Family Dental, later taking up positions at Lakeside Kids & Special Needs Dentistry and the Colorado Surgical Institute as a Clinical Resident.

Knowing that expertise is cultivated from experience and practice, Dr. Hirsch has received extensive education and training. Having received years of training in oral surgery, root canals, digital dentistry, complex restorative dentistry, molar extraction, botulinum toxin injections, and much more, Dr. Hirsch next pursued a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in Oral Implantology.

Dr. Hirsch, his wife, a pediatric dentist, their daughter, and their family teddy-bear dog, Graham, have been residing in Denver since 2022. Dr. Hirsch and his wife particularly enjoy the area. When Dr. Hirsch is not at his office, he indulges in his hobbies of college football, traveling, and exploring local coffee shops and breweries.
