From the very beginning of his dental career, Dr. Harberg has worked extremely hard to provide each of his patients with the best possible dental treatments possible.

Joseph Harberg, DDS

Dr. Harberg came from a family of engineers, which taught him to be mechanically minded from a young age, and he enjoys applying the concepts of mechanics in combination with science and art to help provide his patients with healthy, functional bites as well as beautiful smiles.

He is dedicated to continuing education to stay up with the ever-evolving technology and techniques in the field of dentistry with advanced training in esthetic restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, and clear aligner therapy.

“I absolutely love combining my engineering background with my science education, and being able to implement a creative aspect into designing beautiful smiles that can be truly transformative for my patients. I get to work with amazing people and patients every single day. ” — Dr. Joseph Harberg

Dr. Harberg is a Colorado native. He grew up in Boulder, just up the road from his practice, and went to Fairview High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Nebraska - Lincoln while majoring in Biology and minoring in Mathematics and Biochemistry. Dr. Harberg was excited to then return to his home state for his dental education at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. He has been practicing dentistry in Colorado for over 5 years, and is thrilled to be able to provide excellent dental care to his home community.

When Dr. Harberg takes a break from dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife Elsa and their two dogs, Frida and Lido (named after Lidocaine :)). He is an avid outdoorsman and mountain lover. In the winter you will find him skiing both on- or off-piste, and in the summer he will be working on hiking all of Colorado's 14ers. He has completed 34 of the 58 so far!

Whenever possible, Dr. Harberg also loves giving back to a wider community. He has traveled to Costa Rica, Panama, and Guatemala to provide vital dental care to communities in need. Giving back in this way allows him to experience the cultures of different parts of the world while helping those who would otherwise not get the care they desperately need.
