Dr. Bender is passionate about treating every equally and with compassion and empathy. He truly understands that many people have fear and anxiety about dental-related issues and strives to educate his patients so they have the information they need to make the best choice for their oral health.

He has dedicated his entire life to medicine and has served in public health settings and once worked in the correctional setting for the State of Colorado.

Theodore Roosevelt once said; 'people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.' I think this holds especially true in a health care setting. Often, people don’t begin to make the best choices for their oral health, until they fully understand how important their health is to us.

Compassion, Education, and Experience

He is origanally from Clovis, NM and grew up in Hot Springs, AR. He earned his bachelor's degree in Emergency Medicine from the University of New Mexico and was a paramedic/firefighter for over a decade before pursuing a career in dentistry. He recieved his doctorate in dental surgery (DDS) from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

During his free time, Dr Bender enjoys riding his Harley Davidson, playing golf, and skiing. He loves to restore old vehicles, cooking, and supporting his children's school activities.
